Timber Mill Operative

Exeter
Pay: £13.00 to £13.50 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the RoleWe are looking for a Timber Mill Operative to join our client’s busy team in Exeter. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment, working with timber products and machinery. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in a similar setting would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Operating timber mill machinery safely and efficiently
- Cutting, shaping, and preparing timber to specification
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Assisting with loading and unloading timber products
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in timber or manufacturing
- On-site parking
