We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmers to optimise CNC machining programs for complex precision components.
Working within aerospace, automotive, motor sport and medical industries.
The role will be responsible for:
- Develop, prove out, and optimise CNC programs for milling and turning centres (3/4/5-axis).
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to create accurate machining processes.
- Select appropriate tooling, work-holding, and cutting strategies to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
- Conduct program simulations and first-off inspections to verify compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Provide technical support to machine operators during setup and production runs.
- Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times, increase tool life, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation including setup sheets, tool lists, and program archives.
- Ensure all activities meet AS9100 and customer-specific aerospace requirements.
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide manufacturability feedback.
- Dayshift hours - Monday to Friday
