The Rewards

Total Compensation: £52,000 per annum (Base of £38,000 + 37% shift allowance).

Shift Pattern:
Dedicated night shift (11pm - 11am) on a rotating "3 days on / 3 days off" schedule.

Your Impact

As a vital member of our clients moulding production team, you will act as the primary problem solver for complex engineering challenges. Your day-to-day will involve:

Technical Leadership:
Diagnosing complex machine issues and implementing robust engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.

Continuous Improvement:
Identifying equipment enhancements to boost productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Operational Excellence:
Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set to validated standards and maintaining accurate maintenance logs via SAP.

Mentorship:
Coaching and guiding technical associates to promote high-quality workmanship and effective knowledge transfer.

What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for a dedicated technician with a strong engineering aptitude and a supportive attitude.

Education/

Experience:

A Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) OR proven experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Technical

Skills:

Strong fault-finding abilities. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electrical systems, or servo technologies is highly desirable.

IT Literacy:
Proficiency in IT, specifically using SAP for maintenance logging and data-driven fault diagnosis.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills and the patience required to mentor less experienced team members.
