Breedon Group plc in England is recruiting a Shotfirer/Explosives Supervisor based at Holme Hall Quarry, South Yorkshire. This role reports to the Quarry Manager.
Key duties include face profiling, marking out shots, designing the blast specification, safe transfer and storage of explosives, and the charging and firing of production shots with the driller. You will also be working towards or have NVQ Level 3 in shot firing and MPQC shot firing/explosives supervision.
