Manufacturing Operator

Description

We are looking to build a talent pool of Manufacturing Operators to support our operations team, reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Supervisor. As our business continues to grow, we anticipate internal career progression within the team, which is expected to create future openings in these roles.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of a range of manufacturing processing equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

The shift pattern for this role operates on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, comprising 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of a range of manufacturing processing equipment.
  • Always adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of quality at all times.
  • Exercise good manufacturing practices and disciplines.
  • Always follow documented procedures.
  • Communicate effectively on the status of equipment and materials.
  • Always adhere to clean room disciplines.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Ability to undertake shift work (preferably with previous experience).
  • Willing to work in a clean room environment and wear protective clothing and masks.
  • Ability to adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
  • High level of accuracy, quality of work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new skills and work under pressure to achieve manufacturing Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player and able to demonstrate flexibility towards team goals.
  • IT skills.
Advantage
  • Experience working within a regulated light manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • Previous experience working within the electronic manufacturing industry.
