Location: Plymouth
Salary: 33,487.74
Shifts: Rotating 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00, Monday to FridayAbout the Role

We are recruiting multiple Assembly Operatives to join a globally recognised engineering business that continues to invest in its people, technology, and future growth. Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in the assembly and testing of high-quality pumps and motors used around the world. Whether you already have assembly experience or are looking to develop your technical skills further, full support and training will be provided to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components to precise engineering specifications.
  • Carry out various production processes including washing, lapping, assembly, testing, and painting.
  • Work from detailed instructions to deliver products to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

About You

Essential:
  • Minimum 2-3 years consisrtant experience within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work the rotating shift pattern.
Desirable:
  • Mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
  • Experience working to technical drawings or detailed work instructions.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
