We offer a modern, well‑equipped environment with 29 state‑of‑the‑art theatres across two floors, covering a wide range of surgical specialities.

We are passionate about recognising talent. Through structured development and diverse rotation scrub pathways, we’ll help you build specialist expertise and leadership capabilities.

You will be supported by an enthusiastic team of staff to help you develop skills in caring for patients across a range of specialities. You will be given the opportunity to undertake a competency‑based training package and will be supported via the allocation of a suitable mentor and/or buddy system.

We also have a number of dedicated educational/training mornings identified throughout the year and an excellent IT facility to support with online training.

To enable your development, we have a dedicated team of educational practitioners who are focused on delivering a meaningful and achievable educational programme.

You will be encouraged to pursue Leadership and Management training, enabling you to grow as a clinical leader and develop strong decision‑making skills within the perioperative environment.

Essential:

• Current RN/AHP, registration with NMC/HCPC
• An awareness of research and evidence‑based practice relevant to the clinical area

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a scrub practitioner would be desirable but not essential, as in‑house training would be provided;
• You will need to be open and adaptable to learning new skills and developing your leadership skills.
