Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, improve, and ensure the effectiveness of the AS9100, AS9120, and ISO
9001 Quality Management Systems.
* Lead and coordinate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRS) in accordance with AS9102 requirements to support product release and QA approval.
* Monitor company-wide compliance with internal policies as well as applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
* Manage internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented on time; review audit data, identify trends, and drive improvement initiatives.
* Plan and oversee quality system audits, certification activities, and contract review processes.
* Stay informed of updates to industry standards, regulations, and guidance, integrating these changes into the audit programme.
* Oversee document control processes, including the management and archiving of quality documentation.
* Support management review activities and coordinate compliance meetings with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders to maintain compliance and promote continuous improvement across the business.
* Take a leadership aspect to customer response related to quality systems, certifications, and compliance requirements.
About You:
Essential:
* A minimum of five years proven experience working in a leadership Quality role gained from either Manufacturing or Precision Engineering.
* Excellent knowledge and experience of AS9100, AS9120, AS9102 and ISO
9001.
* Excellent communication skills coupled with Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills to lead a small quality team.
Desirable (Non Essential):
* IRCA Lead Auditor.
* Regulatory and Contractual knowledge relating to Quality Standards.
* Experience in Supplier Evaluation.
