Quality Technician

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Quality Technician who will work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to ensure Quality Systems are maintained in compliance and adhered to by all personnel. These systems include Quality Notifications, procedures, inspections, tests, temporary deviations, and supporting internal and third‑party audits.

• Raise Quality Notifications following standardised practices and ensure non‑conforming product segregation and identification per relevant procedures, including root cause investigation.
• Audit Device History Records to verify completeness and GMP compliance.
• Conduct product inspections as required by process control plans, e.g., moulding product dimensional checks, needle functional checks, and other quality‑supporting checks.
• Support SAP/Flexnet requests—blocking/unblocking product and investigating quantity discrepancies.
• Support validation/trial runs in manufacturing to ensure product is controlled appropriately.
• Assist the Quality Engineering team on reasonable requests as they arise.
• Coordinate product returns as necessary.

• Experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• IT‑literate with working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions and clearly communicate details to production team members.

Work Shift: Part‑time role – Red Shift 17:00 to 23:00, 3 days on and 3 days off. The site operates 24h/7d.

Salary: £15,000 to £16,000 + benefits.

Location: Plymouth – Belliver Industrial Estate, United Kingdom.
