UK Biobank Limited is seeking a Laboratory Sample Assistant for a 6‑month fixed-term contract. The role involves moving, storing and preparing millions of biological samples within a busy laboratory, contributing to a major relocation project and global research access.
You will retrieve samples from cold storage, perform QC checks, prepare shipments and support safe handling in a
-20°C environment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork in a high‑performing lab setting.
