We are currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth. As a Quality Engineer, you'll focus on implementing quality assurance and quality control processes at the operational level, working closely with project teams to ensure products and services meet defined quality standards.
What will you be responsible for? As a Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the quality team, supporting them in delivering excellence across the project. Your day to day will include:
Developing and executing inspection and testing procedures Conducting root cause analysis and supporting problem-solving activities Monitoring construction processes for quality compliance and reviewing documentation Supporting audits and quality system implementations Collecting and analysing quality data to identify trends and improvements What are we looking for? This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:
You hold quality related qualifications and demonstrable industry experience in ISO standards You have experience in a similar role, preferably in relevant sectors such as Nuclear and Defence You possess a strong understanding of quality principles, inspection methods, and testing You have knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and industry-specific requirements You hold a CSCS Green labourer card and have good communication and problem-solving abilities Rewards and benefits We're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
