External Sales Engineer — Process Pumps
Staffordshire or Shropshire | Field Based
Are you a pump specialist who loves being in front of customers as much as you love the technical side?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and sole UK distributor of a premium European process pump range — covering vacuum, side channel, hot oil, diaphragm and multistage pumps.
They're growing and need an experienced External Sales Engineer to develop and manage a UK territory.
The RoleYou’ll be the face of the business on the road — building relationships, identifying new opportunities, supporting customers technically and driving sales across Process, Industrial and OEM markets. Full product training and head office support provided.
What You’ll Be Doing- Managing and growing a UK sales territory
- Visiting customer sites, planning your own diary and owning your patch
- Promoting new pump sales, repairs and aftermarket services
- Identifying new prospects and following through on enquiries and quotations
- Working closely with the Sales Manager and keeping CRM updated
- Background in pumps — vacuum, centrifugal, diaphragm or multistage
- Technical confidence with the ability to hold meaningful conversations with engineers and buyers
- Previous field sales experience preferred
- Engineering qualification advantageous
- Self-motivated, customer-focused and happy on the road
- Full UK driving licence essential
Competitive and negotiable depending on experience.
