Job Description & How to Apply Below

This is far more than a traditional sales position. As a Project Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of exciting, varied projects, from initial conversations through to completed spaces.

You’ll work directly with clients to understand their vision, translate requirements into creative briefs for our in-house designers, and ultimately present and secure the final solution.

Expect a highly varied role with:
  • Regular travel to customer meetings, project sites and stakeholders
  • Collaboration with our Northampton HQ, Clerkenwell (London) showroom, and four UK manufacturing sites
  • Opportunities to shape library spaces across England and Wales.

You’ll inherit a strong, well-established territory, with an existing pipeline and relationships, alongside the freedom to develop new opportunities and grow the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop sales across public and education sectors
  • Manage and grow both existing and dormant accounts
  • Generate and respond to new sales leads and enquiries
  • Conduct site visits, surveys and client meetings
  • Translate client needs into detailed project briefs
  • Present tailored design solutions and close sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors and product developments
  • Contribute to strategic sales and marketing initiatives
What We’re Looking For Personal Attributes
  • Commercially driven with a creative approach
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Able to listen, interpret and respond to client requirements effectively

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and adaptable
  • Somebody who is centrally located within the United Kingdom
Experience
  • Proven experience in face-to-face sales (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience managing a sales territory and sales pipeline (desirable)
  • Background in furniture, interiors, education or public sector sales (desirable)
