Children's Team Manager- LAC

Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Team Manager to join their LAC Team Fantastic payrate of up to £40 per hour! Provide leadership, supervision and performance management to social workers and support staff within the Looked After Children (LAC) team. Oversee care planning and permanency arrangements to ensure children achieve safe, stable and positive outcomes. Ensure statutory duties, assessments, reviews and visits are completed within required timescales and legislative frameworks. Manage risk and safeguard looked after children, ensuring effective multi-agency working and decision-making.

Monitor and improve practice quality through case audits, reflective supervision and performance oversight. Lead on complex case management, including court proceedings, placement stability and transition planning. Promote the voice of the child, ensuring children and young people are actively involved in decisions affecting their lives. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
