Our Plymouth Parent's Accommodation and Support Service (PPAS) is an exciting and vital project providing support and developing living skills to parents (aged 16+) and their children who live in our supported accommodation. We are looking for confident, caring and trustworthy support workers to work at the project on a part time, permanent basis.
There are no personal care responsibilities in this role. As a support worker, you will be helping parents develop their living and parenting skills. We are looking for people with a passion to bring their experience of working with young families into our friendly team. This role involves working evening shifts and weekends until 9pm on a rota basis.

You will work alongside parents and their children who are experiencing significant challenges, helping them to attain a better life by enabling and supporting them:
- to be safe
- to become sustainably housed
- to develop their positive parenting skills
- by implementing and facilitating group sessions
- by promoting engagement and supporting access to community services that can further enhance their development
- by advising on housing related issues including welfare benefits, finances and budgeting
