Python​/Java Developer

A position is open for a skilled professional who will be required to work under a hybrid model, with occasional on-site visits to an office located in Plymouth.

• Designing and developing robust software solutions.
• Bringing substantial experience in AWS to the role.
• Contributing to the technical direction of various projects.
• Upholding and ensuring high code quality standards.
• Adhering to project schedules and timelines.
• Proposing enhancements in team processes, tools, and techniques.
• Sharing expertise and fostering strong engineering practices among team members and clients.
• Some travel and off-site work may be necessary.

• Proficiency in Core and Enterprise Python and/or Java, including Spring.
• Experience in developing and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in more than one programming language.
• Commitment to delivering user-focused outcomes.
• A passion for mentoring and guiding others.
• Competence in full-stack development.
  
  Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development).
• Knowledge of RESTful Web Services.

• AWS Certifications.
• Familiarity with software design patterns.
• Effective standup and presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Knowledge of GIS systems like ArcGIS, Geo Server, or Geo Network.
