Class 2 Drivers – Plymouth

HG Recruitment is recruiting Class 2 Drivers in partnership with EVRi to support our Plymouth site. Positions are available with two shift patterns:

• Full‑time:
  Start times between 14:00 and 16:00, working 5 out of 7 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Part‑time:
  Start times between 01:00 and 06:00, 3–4 shifts per week.

• Pre‑Parity (Weeks 1–12)
  • Days: £14.60 (holiday £16.36)
  • Nights: £15.61 (holiday £17.49)
• Parity (Weeks +13)
  • Days: £14.60 (holiday £16.36) OT £21.29 (holiday £23.85)
  • Nights: £15.61 (holiday £17.49) OT £23.42 (holiday £26.24)
• Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours: £939.53 (Parity PAYE)
• Expected annual earnings: £48,855.56

• Carry out multi‑drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport team and customers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Recent experience in multi‑drop or similar driving roles preferred; new pass holders welcome.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong customer service skills.
