Class 2 Driver Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 2 (Cat C Drivers) on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Barnsley.

Hours:

Full time (5-6 nights) or part time (3-4 nights) available a week, start times range from midnight - 2am. Pay Rates: (PAYE): £14.43 p/h from 10pm onwards, £13.12 p/h from 6am onwards (ROLLEDUP) £16.16 (with holiday pay).

The role:

Trunking, long distance driving between depots. Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision. No manual handling Minimum 8 hours pay Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 3 months' experience minimum required. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Benefits:
