KierBAM, a Joint Venture between Kier and Bam Nuttall, is delivering redevelopment at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth and seeks an experienced Logistics Coordinator.

Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past five years.
Making PossibleIn this role, you will be working in a live MOD facility. Your day-to-day will include:
- Assist with the implementation of the Vehicle Management System (VMS) to the supply chain and project.
- Manage vehicle booking and approval in line with access restrictions, delivering on time.
- Produce and present reports and data related to the VMS, its effectiveness and compliance.
- Liaise with supply chain and operator/clients’ teams on logistic and traffic issues.
- Liaise with colleagues to provide and manage vehicle movements and delivery forecasts.
- Set a personal example in health, safety, environmental and logistical matters by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Adopt, maintain, and promote cost‑conscious management through efficient use of all resources.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with the client, construction teams and stakeholders.
- Attend forums and meetings to coordinate movements within the site.
- Identify potential efficiencies on vehicle movements.
- Coordinate and communicate with delivery drivers, site teams and gate management to ensure deliveries are received within limited slots with limited disruption.
- Assist with the management of movements within the site to the point of final delivery, ensuring any restrictions and unloading/loading methods are identified and implemented.
- This profile is not exhaustive; sometimes you may be required to perform other tasks within your capabilities with training and support provided.
- Qualified to HNC level, graduate or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in successful logistics management and administration.
- Thorough knowledge of logistic and driver procedures and working methods.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Confidence in using Microsoft office software to compile and present information in varied forums.
- CSCS Card (Blue or Green).
