Apprentice Trainee Bus Driver

Overview

Stagecoach South, Portsmouth is hiring trainee bus drivers. You’ll be paid to learn how to drive a bus at our Driving Academy, join a great community, and be rewarded for a job you love.

We are looking for trainee bus drivers to join our team immediately.

• Learn to drive a bus while training at the Driving Academy, with pay from day one.
• Work toward a recognised national qualification in Passenger Transport and obtain your PCV licence.
• Attend interviews and depot visits as part of the application process.
• Be part of a supportive community and uphold Stagecoach values.

• Paid during training; training costs funded (worth around £4,000).
• Salary during training: £13.13 per hour; progression during training (e.g., 0-6 months £14.00, 6-12 months £15.01, over 12 months £16.00).
