Class 2 Driver HGV

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks a Class 2 Driver HGV for full-time, temporary or permanent work in Stonehouse, paying £15 per hour with all hours, including breaks, remunerated. Newly qualified drivers are welcome. Shifts commence between 04:00 and 07:00, covering one to twelve deliveries daily to residential and commercial addresses. Responsibilities include driving a Category C vehicle, heavy lifting, and handballing products to kerbside or specified drop-off points.

This position suits those seeking regular, ad-hoc or temp-to-perm assignments with early starts. Candidates must hold a valid Class 2 licence and demonstrate physical fitness for manual handling duties.

• Driving a Class 2 (Category
  
  C) vehicle
• Start times between 04:00 and 07:00
• Completing 1 to 12 deliveries per day
• Delivering products to residential and commercial customers
• Heavy lifting and handball required
• Offloading products to the kerbside or designated delivery location only
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy

• Valid UK Category C (Class
  2) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 9 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication skills
