  Any of the signalling design offices - London Waterloo, Reading, Birmingham, Glasgow or York. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered.
• Band & Salary:
  Band 4.C £43,588 - £53,167 depending on skills and experience. Please note an inner London or London allowance would be in addition to the stated salary where applicable.

Engineering Services is a function within Route Services. We sit as a central team to provide national skills and activities which enable regions and industry partners to deliver the railway for our customers.

As a large central functional team which focus on engineering delivery, we have many roles, ranging from pure engineering to project management. We design and influence every part of the railway, including structures, track, traction power, level crossings, signalling and accessibility schemes which are essential to keep our stations moving.

We are looking for a Signal Sighting Specialist to play a key role in the safe and effective delivery of signalling renewal and enhancement projects across the country. Working closely with project teams and operational stakeholders, you will lead and coordinate signal sighting activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Network Rail requirements while supporting the safe operation of the railway.
