Plessey are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our high-tech manufacturing site, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will join a small but established Warehouse Team, supporting all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing materials and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the business to support our manufacturing operations.

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record inbound deliveries in SAP.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods with suppliers and Procurement.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of materials, including hazardous substances.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal teams to route materials correctly and provide required documentation.
• Issue stock accurately and maintain reliable stores and inventory records.
• Support stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
• Experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• IT literate, ideally with experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
