What would you do working in this role?
Complete installation, repair and maintenance of the following:- Plumbing systems & components
- Water treatment equipment, piping and controls
- Underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
- Water heaters and conditioners
- Plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim
Identify any tools and specialized equipment
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet code requirements
Manage work log
Stay up to date with safety regulations and codes
Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
Assemble and install valves & fittings
What do you need to know?Proficient knowledge in:
- Water distribution
- Wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial settings
- Hoisting and Rigging
- Building codes
- Communication/Listening
- Reasoning
- Analytics/Problem-solving
- Time management
Education and Experience Needed:
- Journeyman Certification in Plumbing from State of Wisconsin
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable
