Get to Know Your Team:
- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
- Coordination of the evaluation and screening process for patients with cardiac disease being evaluated for complex cardiac surgery.
- Serve as the primary point person for the valve team, including physicians, patients, and other clinical professionals—coordination of inter-departmental/inter-hospital processes and communication.
- Make recommendations to the physician team for final determination.
- Serves as patient navigator while collaborating in developing and delivering education and care for Portneuf Medical Center.
Job Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- BSN
- Experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery
- 1-year experience in ACC/TVT/STS or LOAA registry
- 1-year experience in program development, quality improvement, development of evidence-based clinical protocols, and regulatory readiness program planning
