Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist experienced in interventional cardiology, structural heart, and EP procedures with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
• Work in a cardiac catheterization lab supporting interventional cardiology, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
• Patient population includes pediatric, neonatal, and adult cardiac cases
• Procedures include Cath, EP, Watchman, balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, pacemaker, diagnostic catheterizations, impella insertion, and left/right heart cath
• Uses Siemens, Shockwave, Rotoblader/CSI, Angio Jet, and Philips Allura FD 20 equipment
• Documentation is done via Epic and McKesson, with Epic experience preferred
• Day shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 07:30–18:00
• Rotating call coverage during weekand weekends
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Scrubs are provided
• Former permanent staff must have separated for at least 1 year before eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off permitted during the first week of orientation
• Dress code: scrubs provided
Requirements
• Minimum of 1-2 years Cath Lab Technologist experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Ability to scrub and monitor Cath, EP, and Watchman procedures
• Skills in EKG, balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, pacemaker, diagnostic catheterizations (including pediatric/neonatal), impella insertion, left/right heart cath, and use of rotablader
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable
