VP of Engineering

We engineer high-availability platforms, and we are searching for a VP of Engineering fluent in Webpack to keep them humming. Net it out: remote, $193,000 - $277,000, 13 years, ownership of the technology outcome, and a Boeing team that has your back.

• Profile Ruby memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Idaho Falls nodes
• Document the Git Hub Actions system so the next vp engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Mentor newer vp hires on how Boeing actually wires Webpack together
• Stand up observability so Boeing sees failures before customers in
• Refine and maintain microservices that support Boeing customers in Idaho Falls,
• Ensure code quality through automated linting, testing, and static analysis
• Catch the React race conditions that only surface under Idaho Falls peak traffic
• Keep Boeing's People Management dependencies patched before the CVEs become incidents

• The composure to deliver bad news early and clearly
• Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders at every level
• Around 13+ years of hands-on experience in a technology role
• Proven track record delivering results as a VP of Engineering
• 13+ years that left you with strong instincts and few
• The kind of reliability that earns you the hard assignments
• Comfort defending a recommendation in front of skeptics
