Overview
Food Pantry Aide role at Ameri Corps through the Idaho Health Corps Ameri Corps program. Idaho State University’s Institute of Rural Health places members across the state to address the health needs of Idaho’s low-income children and families in rural, under-resourced areas.
Responsibilities- Load, transport and deliver donated food to the food pantry and other locations as needed.
- Lead volunteers in sorting and shelving food items and distribute food directly to the people visiting the food pantry.
- Leverage community volunteers who will be engaged in assisting at placement sites.
