Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring Idaho or compact RN licensure and night shift availability.

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 07:00
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred
• Deliver and document comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Prioritize, delegate, and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
• No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this position
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Active Idaho or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Strong computer skills, including use of EMR systems
• Ability to work in a busy, high-stress environment
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year gap before returning as travelers
