RN - PCU

This is a 13-week contract position.

3, 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15)

We are seeking a qualified Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry Nurse for a 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with complex conditions, such as stroke and heart issues.

• Provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage drips, including vasoactive and cardiac drips (no titration).
• Perform central line care and blood product administration.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac emergencies.
• Assist in rapid response and code teams.
• Implement isolation precautions as necessary.

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a Progressive Care or Stepdown unit.
• Experience with charting in Epic is required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage and care for complicated patient conditions.
