We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our kitchens and onsite bakeries operate optimally. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our campus. Your work will help prevent failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team.
Key ResponsibilitiesWalk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets
Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems
High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems
This position is based in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance provided. Madison is a vibrant city known for its tech growth, water surroundings, and quality of life. Minimum requirements include:
- CFC Universal Certification
- EPA 608 certification
- Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
- Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair
- Refrigeration system installation and service
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Gas-fired equipment and piping
