Overview

Customer Experience Specialist British Swim School of Idaho Falls-Pocatello

The Customer Experience Specialist, known as a Deck Ambassador, works poolside and plays a critical role in providing an excellent customer experience.

Position type:
Part Time. Shifts are 4-5 hours, typically weeknights from 3–7 pm and weekends in the morning.

The Position

The Deck Ambassador helps manage the pool deck, assists instructors and managers when needed, and ensures a welcoming environment for students and families.

Your Typical Responsibilities
  • Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
  • Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
  • Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
  • Answering customers' questions about their account, child’s progress, or the program.
  • Assist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive pay based on experience.
  • Paid training.
  • Flexible schedules with shifts typically 4-5 hours; evenings and weekend mornings.
  • Compensation range: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional and responsible demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) (may be obtained during training).

Working at British Swim School is about creating a lasting impact in the community and promoting water safety. Most students are preschool and elementary-aged children. Experience with children is helpful but not required if you demonstrate the right attitude. The role includes specialized training in our approach.
