The town clerk is the proper officer for the council, responsible for the effective administration and lawful operation of Pocklington Town Council.
The town council is responsible for a number of services, including the operation of an Arts Centre. This is a pivotal leadership position that supports councillors, manages staff, and helps deliver local projects that make a difference in our community.
Pocklington is a vibrant market town situated 15 miles to the east of York. It has become a commuter town servicing York, Hull and Leeds. The town centre is a vibrant mix of independent shops.
This is an exciting time for the council as it will be working with a local charity to develop a community hub.
