Poultry Feed Manufacturing concern, based in Polokwane
, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team. Successful incumbent will report to the Financial Manager and be responsible for a wide variety of accounting and operational duties and manage the Admin Department.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, VAT returns and journals.
• Maintain financial records using Pastel Accounting.
• Manage customer, inventory, pricing and transport tariff setup within accounting and management systems.
• Assist with product costing and margin analysis.
• Oversee debtors and creditors, reviewing reconciliations and invoices.
• Analyse inventory variances including raw materials, finished goods, packaging and diesel.
• Compare actual expenditure against budgets and report on variances.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage fixed assets, insurance administration and vehicle licensing.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reports for management.
• Maintain strong financial controls and perform monthly housekeeping activities.

• BCom Degree in Financial Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Pastel Accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• High levels of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
