Construction Planner​/Scheduler

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Planner / Scheduler to join their team in Polokwane . You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules for a variety of construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in scheduling software. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure realistic and achievable project timelines are established and monitored, contributing to efficient project delivery and minimizing delays and cost overruns.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Analyze project requirements and establish realistic timelines for all phases of construction.
• Monitor construction progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential deviations.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather updates and forecast completion dates.
• Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, delays, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate planning meetings and ensure effective communication of schedule updates to all parties.

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
• Expert proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and critical path analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams.
