BIM Architect​/Coordinator

Our client is seeking a skilled BIM Architect/Coordinator to enhance their design and documentation processes in Polokwane . This role is crucial for implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows across various projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and data integrity. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, training project teams, and overseeing model quality. This is a vital position for driving efficiency and innovation in architectural delivery within Limpopo province, working on projects that contribute to regional development.

• Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the practice.
• Manage and coordinate BIM models from project initiation through to handover.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of BIM data across all project disciplines.
• Provide training and support to architects, designers, and technicians on BIM software and processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve BIM-related issues and facilitate interdisciplinary coordination.
• Contribute to the development of clash detection strategies and issue resolution.

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on BIM.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM execution plans (BEPs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
