Architectural Designer - Healthcare Facilities

Our client, a respected architectural firm with a specialized focus on healthcare and institutional design, is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities in Polokwane, Limpopo . • Contribute to the conceptualization and design development of healthcare facilities in Polokwane .
• Produce architectural drawings, renderings, and models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with senior architects, healthcare planners, and consultants to ensure design meets functional and clinical requirements.
• Research and apply relevant healthcare design guidelines, codes, and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed design documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for potential healthcare projects.
• Ensure design solutions are efficient, cost-effective, and patient-centered.
• Stay updated on trends and innovations in healthcare facility design.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• SACAP registration is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with specific experience in healthcare facilities highly desirable.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up.
• Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills.
• Understanding of healthcare planning principles and clinical workflows is a plus.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively on detailed documentation and technical aspects of design.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations in South Africa .
