About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly adaptable and forward-thinking Chemical Engineer to take on challenging Special Projects within their organization in Polokwane . This role is designed for individuals who enjoy tackling novel problems, exploring new technologies, and driving innovation outside of routine production. You will work on a variety of assignments, from feasibility studies for new ventures to the implementation of advanced process technologies.

- Lead and execute special projects focused on process innovation, technology evaluation, and new business development.
- Conduct in-depth feasibility studies, techno-economic analyses, and risk assessments for new projects.
- Develop conceptual designs and process flow diagrams for novel chemical processes or modifications.
- Oversee pilot-scale testing and validation of new technologies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project success.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of diverse experience in chemical engineering, with a significant portion in project-based roles.
- Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and implement new processes or technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies and financial analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage diverse stakeholders.
