About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in Polokwane . This role involves the day-to-day management and optimization of chemical production processes, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and meet quality specifications. You will be responsible for troubleshooting process issues, implementing improvements, and supporting plant operations. • Monitor and control chemical processes to ensure optimal performance, yield, and quality.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve process-related issues and deviations from standard operating procedures.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to maintain equipment integrity and reliability.
• Assist in the preparation of process documentation, including P&IDs and operating manuals.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 1-3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process engineering role.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
