Mechanical Engineer

Our client is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their dedicated team in Polokwane . This role is focused on supporting the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and the manufacturing department to ensure that designs are practical, efficient, and meet all required specifications. This is an excellent entry-level to mid-level opportunity for an ambitious engineer to gain hands-on experience in a variety of engineering tasks and contribute to the success of key projects within a local industrial setting.

• Assist in the design and detailing of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software .
• Perform basic engineering calculations and simulations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the testing and validation of prototypes and manufactured components.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve production issues and implement design improvements.
• Maintain organized project records and contribute to team meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering or design role is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works).
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an on-site environment in Limpopo .
