About the Role
Our client is searching for a dedicated Blockchain Security Specialist to join their team in Polokwane . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks associated with blockchain applications, smart contracts, and network infrastructure. You will play a key part in ensuring the integrity and safety of our client's digital assets and platforms. This position offers the chance to work on challenging security problems within the rapidly evolving blockchain landscape, contributing to a secure and trustworthy environment in Limpopo .
Key Responsibilities- Conduct security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols.
- Develop and implement robust security frameworks and best practices for blockchain deployments.
- Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation.
- Stay current with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain ecosystem.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in blockchain security.
- In-depth knowledge of smart contract security vulnerabilities and auditing techniques.
- Familiarity with blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) and common attack vectors.
- Experience with security analysis tools and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Solidity) for security analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
