About the Role
Our client is looking for a visionary Senior Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS to join their fully remote architecture team. This critical role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of complex, scalable, and secure cloud solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for defining cloud strategy, setting architectural standards, and guiding engineering teams through the adoption of best practices.

- Design and document highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Develop and enforce cloud architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure cloud solutions meet all requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud migration strategies and implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to optimize performance, cost, and security.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide expert recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Master's preferred. - 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions on AWS.
- Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Formation.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, and microservices architectures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
