IT Helpdesk Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and technically adept IT Helpdesk Analyst to join their team in Polokwane. This on-site role is vital for ensuring the seamless operation of the company's IT systems and providing essential support to employees. You will be responsible for responding to and resolving a variety of IT issues, from hardware malfunctions to software glitches and network connectivity problems.

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access privileges.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
• Assist with IT system upgrades and maintenance tasks as directed.

• Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, software (Windows/Office Suite), and network basics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting common IT problems.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
