Senior SEO Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Senior SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and drive organic traffic to their digital platforms from their Polokwane office. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced search engine optimization strategies that improve search engine rankings, increase website traffic, and boost conversion rates. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and analytical tools.

You will work closely with the content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO is integrated into all aspects of their online presence, contributing to measurable growth and market leadership.

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research, site audits, and competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities.
• Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO improvements.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and track key metrics.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content and with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
• Provide regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic.
• Expertise in SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical audiences.
