About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager specializing in IT Systems to join their dynamic team in Polokwane . This role is crucial for overseeing the successful implementation and integration of various IT systems and software solutions across the organization. You will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with business needs, are delivered on time, and meet quality standards.

- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements for IT system deployments.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges that may impact timelines or deliverables.

- Oversee the deployment and testing phases of IT systems, ensuring seamless transition to operational use.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , specifically focused on IT systems and software implementation.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various IT methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency with project management tools and techniques for IT projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile certifications) are highly desirable.
