Helpdesk Analyst

Our client is seeking a proficient and proactive Helpdesk Analyst to join their established IT support team based in Polokwane . • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and standard applications.
• Respond to support requests via ticketing system, phone, and email, prioritizing urgent issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and assist users with printer and peripheral issues.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist in managing IT assets and inventory, ensuring all equipment is tracked and accounted for.

• Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist users.
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
