AI Platform Engineer - MLOps Specialist

Our client, a prominent entity in the AI & Emerging Technologies sector, is looking for a skilled AI Platform Engineer with a strong MLOps focus to join their team in Polokwane . This role is essential for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our client's AI development and deployment lifecycle. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing the end-to-end machine learning pipeline, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable AI/ML infrastructure and platforms.
• Implement and manage MLOps pipelines for automated model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop and manage CI/CD processes for machine learning models.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI production systems.
• Work with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to provision and manage AI infrastructure resources.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for ML models and infrastructure.
• Automate workflows for data preparation, model versioning, and experimentation tracking.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to the standardization of ML tooling and best practices within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer, or ML Engineer with a focus on MLOps.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and the ML lifecycle.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their ML services.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
