Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic Senior Project Manager to lead critical projects focused on optimizing their supply chain operations in Polokwane . This role is integral to enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of the company's supply chain network. You will be responsible for managing projects that involve logistics, inventory management, procurement, and distribution, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and a proven ability to manage complex projects that yield significant operational improvements within Limpopo.

• Lead the end-to-end management of supply chain optimization projects, from planning to implementation and review.
• Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for supply chain initiatives.
• Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement in logistics, inventory, and procurement.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners.
• Implement and monitor new supply chain strategies and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and contribute to overall business objectives.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on supply chain management or logistics.
• Proven experience in optimizing supply chain operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies.
