Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory accuracy and management for their operations in Polokwane . This hybrid role involves detailed tracking, analysis, and optimization of stock levels to ensure operational efficiency and minimize costs. You will be responsible for implementing robust inventory management systems and processes, working closely with warehouse and procurement teams.

- Develop and implement comprehensive inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of inventory data across all systems, including regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Analyze inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels based on sales trends and lead times.
- Implement and manage warehouse slotting and organization strategies to maximize space utilization and operational flow.
- Train and supervise inventory control staff, ensuring adherence to all established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain roles.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP modules).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels.
- Excellent understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO, LIFO, and JIT.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
