Project Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within their supply chain and logistics operations in Polokwane . You will be responsible for optimizing existing supply chain processes, implementing new technologies, and managing projects that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion within a dynamic operational environment.

You will be key in driving innovation and efficiency within the company's logistical framework in the Limpopo region.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of supply chain and logistics projects.
• Analyze current supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, sales, operations) and external partners (vendors, carriers).
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and report on project status and outcomes to senior management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and managing logistics projects.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation modes, and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and supply chain optimization tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
